Can I change the Column View on the Status Board?

Yes! Click the Columns link on the top left side of the Status Board. Select the columns you want to view on the Status Board and click Save. The columns you choose will stay selected until you change them.

How can I show more rows on the Status Board?

Make sure you are in the List view on the Status Board (upper right corner are the view options). Also, you can scroll down to the bottom of the status board, click the drop-down box in the lower left corner, then select the number of users you want to see on each page.

Can I filter by First Name on the Status Board?

Yes! Click on the First/Last column heading on the Status Board. Click First to sort by first name, or Last to sort by last name. Click again to reverse the sort. You can filter almost any column on the status board. Just click the black text column heading, and you will see the sort by ascending or descending order. Click again to reverse the sort.

I only want to see MY department on the Status Board.

No problem. Click the Filter link on the top left side of the Status Board. Select the Location, Team, Department, Status, or enter a First or Last Name, and click Apply. The Status Board will then filter to your specifications. The Filter button will turn red and display Filter ON until you change or turn off the filter.

I need to change someone else’s status, how do I do it?

Any Administrator can change anyone else’s status. Manager level users can change the status of users at their SAME Location. Employee level users cannot update the status of another user, unless given the right by an Administrator. This is done in the Settings and Users area. Admins will find the user, then click the user’s blue name link. Then set the All User Status Change option to Yes, and click Save.

I don’t want to see everyone’s photo, can I remove them?

Good news, you can choose the view of the Status Board that works for you. There are three views:  People view, which will show photos. List view, takes up a lot less space on your screen; no photos. Card view, will list users from left to right, sorted by Last name, in a business card view. Tip: the card view works great for a reception desk or dispatch center.

I forgot to update my status at the end of the day, how can I fix it?

Only an Administrator can edit status changes. To do this, they need to click the cog wheel, then Settings, then User Status History. You will then select a user, then a timeframe. From there you can edit the time history. Then the entry will show the name of the Administrator who changed the entry, and the time and date the change was made.

How can I get everyone to set their status to OUT at the end of the workday?

Admins can set up a Company Status Changing Event for users. This will update the status of all users on the account, who are not already in an Out TYPE status (or in a PTO TYPE status.) You set the day(s), time, what status code to change to, etc. Tip: If you want all users to be set as IN each morning, you can set a Company Status event for that as well. Click the cog wheel, and Settings, and Company Status Changing Events to set up this feature.

What does changed by “System Account” mean on my status history?

When the application automatically changes a status due to a My Calendar event, or a Company Status Changing Event, the “System Account” will be displayed in your status history, and on any time reports.

What is Front Desk?

This is a great way for Receptionists, Dispatchers, or others to see a quick view of all the account users, and update their status. Administrators can launch the Front Desk from their InOutBoard Home screen on any computer. Administrators will see a Front Desk button on their Home screen under their status area. Once that is clicked, a new window will open and show users in a business card view, alphabetically, by Last Name. The Front Desk feature has filters to show Location, Department, Team, Status, and First or Last Name. When you click on a user’s name, you can view their profile, Change their Status, or Send them a Message.
