Accessibility at InOutBoard

We want everyone on your team to be able to use InOutBoard. See what we have evaluated for accessibility, what's working, where improvements are planned, and how to request our Accessibility Conformance Report.

What we evaluated

Our accessibility review covers the InOutBoard web application, version 6.0.8, and the Help Center at inoutboard.com/help. We evaluated them against WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA and the Revised Section 508 standards.

The application review included source-code review across 98 pages, keyboard testing of key workflows, and screen-reader testing with NVDA and Chrome on Windows. The Help Center was evaluated on its September 7, 2026 release-candidate build using keyboard navigation, text resizing, page-structure review, and contrast checks.

The Help Center's production version and changes made after that evaluation have not yet been rechecked. The internal administration console and the marketing pages—including this page—were outside the review. We can provide our Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT) on request at support@inoutboard.com.

What's working well

Our evaluation found several useful accessibility features in the web application.

  • Keyboard access

Key forms, buttons, links, dialogs, reports, and sortable columns can be used without a mouse.

  • Clear page structure

Pages use headings and navigation landmarks, and forms connect fields with their labels.

  • Screen-reader support

Testing covered sign-in, all three status-board views, a dialog, a report and its printable output, and other key navigation.

  • Text and color cues

Statuses include text as well as color. Tested body text and form labels exceeded the WCAG 2.0 AA contrast threshold.

  • Zoom and refresh controls

Pages can be zoomed to 200% without horizontal scrolling. People can adjust or turn off automatic refresh.

Where we're focusing next

We've identified four application areas for improvement.

  • Calendar and resource appointments

Make existing appointments available to keyboard and assistive-technology users. Creating appointments already works with a keyboard.

  • Dashboard chart

Add keyboard access to chart drill-downs. The same filtered results are currently available through the Status Board menu.

  • Selection controls

Give people advance notice or more control when changing a selection reloads a page.

  • Form guidance

Add clear correction instructions to the remaining required fields that currently show only a visual error state.

Share feedback or request the report

If something is difficult to use, email support@inoutboard.com or use the Help option in the application. If possible, tell us what you were trying to do, which page you were on, and which browser or assistive technology you use.

You can also contact us to request the Accessibility Conformance Report or discuss an accessibility question.

Common questions

Do you have a VPAT?

Yes—an Accessibility Conformance Report in ITI VPAT 2.5Rev format, Revised Section 508 edition, covering WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA. Ask through the contact form or at support@inoutboard.com and we will send it.

Is InOutBoard Section 508 compliant?

Not fully, and we do not claim to be. Our report grades every applicable criterion as supported, partially supported, or not supported, and the significant gaps are listed on this page. We would rather you saw the detail than a badge.

Does it work with JAWS, NVDA or VoiceOver?

We tested selected InOutBoard screens with NVDA and Chrome on Windows on 7 September 2026. The tested screens and findings are described above. We have not tested JAWS, VoiceOver or Firefox, and this testing does not establish compatibility across every screen or assistive technology. Contact us to discuss your team's accessibility requirements.

Do we need to install anything?

No. InOutBoard runs in a standard web browser over HTTPS, on desktop or mobile, with no plug-in or extension. It works with whatever assistive technology your operating system and browser provide; we do not ship any of our own, and we do not override the accessibility features your platform gives you.

Is the product available in other languages?

Not currently. The interface is English only, and every page declares that so assistive technology pronounces it correctly.

How often is this page updated?

Whenever the Accessibility Conformance Report changes, and whenever one of the areas for improvement above is fixed. If you find something on this page that no longer matches the product, tell us—that is a bug in its own right.

Can you complete our accessibility questionnaire?

Yes. Send it through the contact form or to support@inoutboard.com. Most of what you need is in the conformance report already, which usually makes it quick.
