Is there a free trial?
Yes—every plan starts with a free 30-day trial with every feature included. No credit card required, and you can cancel any time.
Is there a free plan?
Every account starts with a free 30-day trial of every feature, and continuing after that needs a paid plan. The smallest is $15 a month for up to 10 users, which is $1.50 per user; the largest published size is $500 a month for up to 2,000 users, or 25 cents per user.
What happens when my free trial ends?
If you haven't arranged a paid subscription, your trial ends without a charge and you'll need to contact support to regain access. If you subscribed during the trial, billing follows your selected arrangement—see Setup, Payment, Licenses for how your license, billing frequency, and payment method are set.
Before your trial expires, you can subscribe through Settings → Payment Center: choose your user license and enter your payment details.
Upgrading an active trial carries your work over—users, locations, departments, status codes, and status history—so there is nothing to re-enter.
Need longer to evaluate? Ask us for an extension before the 30 days are up.
If your trial has already expired, contact us to confirm your reactivation options and whether your data is still available.
What counts as a user?
Each person on your status board uses one license. Seasonal or occasional users can be set to inactive so they don't take up a seat, then reactivated when they return.
Are any features extra?
No. Every plan includes everything—status board, dashboard, calendar, resources, messages, alerts, reports, automation, and mobile access. The only difference between plans is the number of users.
How does annual billing work?
Annual billing gets one month free at every license size—pay for eleven months, get twelve. Any Administrator can switch to it from Settings → Payment Center: select Change License and set Billing Frequency to Annually. Quarterly is available there too. A change of frequency applies from your next billing date—see Setup, Payment, Licenses.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes. Move to a larger or smaller license size as your team changes, and with month-to-month billing you're never locked in. Any Administrator can update the user license from Settings → Payment Center on any billing frequency, and the extra seats are usable as soon as you save. The new fee applies from your next billing date—which on an annual plan can be months away, so contact us if you need the change reflected sooner. A license size below your current number of active users can't be selected until you set the users you no longer need to inactive.
What if I need more than 2,000 users?
Contact us about a custom solution: a privately hosted InOutBoard with your branding and custom features. Hosting is priced on your user count and starts at $10,000 per year, billed annually in advance; any custom development is billed separately at an hourly rate. You can cancel at any time, and the subscription won't renew.
